Dr. King understood the broader connection and impact of the African American Freedom Movement in America with the larger Global Struggle for freedom and dignity. People all across the planet were rising up with one voice for freedom against European hegemony, imperialism and Aryanism. Dr. King knew that the outcry for dignity, respect, and freedom by Blacks in America was merely one component of the larger international outcry by all those who had been dehumanized, colonized, exploited, and oppressed by European peoples.
Our struggle is not merely a movement for more bread, water, and shelter to live. We are advocating to be given the freedom to be everything that the Divine One envisioned us becoming.
The Almighty One not only made Africans and Black people the first homo sapiens. We were blessed to be the first to live in urban areas, and the creators of the Arts and Sciences. We were blessed to be the first to teach the Oneness of the Divine Spirit; and to discover that the universe operated according to laws and principles that were rational, comprehensible, and non-partial. Africans believed the universe was just and fair.
The Universe is where Yah's Magnificence is gloriously and wonderfully displayed.
